Chapter 26. Looking for Implied Answers
Knock knock
"Come in!" Ryan raised his head to stare at the open door from outside. Someone entered and then closed the door again. "Ah, there you are. Are you asking me to lunch?"
"You know what. I'm here to take you to lunch. Even if you're not busy," said Sarah, who had just arrived. Her eyes wildly searched the corner of the room, and soon she breathed a sigh of relief because there was no one she was avoiding.
"In a moment. You just wait there," Ryan said, pointing to the sofa in front of him.
"Okay."
Sarah and Ryan were equally absorbed in their activities. Until soon, the sound of the door opening distracted their attention. Especially Sarah, who suddenly widened her eyes to see the figure who came into Ryan's room.
The figure was Scott; he came to see Ryan, her husband, but Sarah looked scared.
