Chapter 27. Need a Holiday
"How's it going? Is there something you want to report?" asked Lily with a flat face. Shortly after, the frown on her forehead appeared and widened. The news from the person on the other end of the line forced her to slightly massage her now-sore and throbbing forehead."Oh my God!" screeched Lily.
Steve, who was in the kitchen, jumped in surprise at Lily's scream. Panicking, he immediately ran to his room, ignoring the dishes he was making.
"What's wrong?" Steve put down Lily's cell phone and lifted her up. He slowly laid Lily down on the bed, gently massaging her hands and forehead. "What are you feeling, baby? Do you hurt?"
"My head is throbbing. It feels like I'm floating," Lily replied.
"You ate very little this morning. I made some porridge and called the doctor. You wait a minute." Steve went back to the kitchen to finish his work and then called one of his friends, who served as his personal physician.
