Chapter 35. Discovery of Kidnapping Evidence
Sean entered Sandy's cafe in a hurry. His face was hidden behind a thick mask and a detective-like hat, a thick coat, and sunglasses. His different appearance made the cafe patrons whisper about him. Deliberately, so that no one would recognize him entering Sandy's cafe.
"Why are you wearing a thick coat?" asked Lily in surprise. "Sit down."Sean took off his coat when he was inside the room. He could finally breathe freely. Sandy looked miserable when he saw his real face being revealed. His hands trembled slightly as he typed something on his computer.
"I found something strange." Sean opened a small plastic bag that he put in his wallet. It was a photo that Lily had left with him. "Do you know this man?" he pointed out.
Lily took the photo and looked at it. For a moment, she tried to remember the man in the hat who had targeted her and her brother that day. Then they suddenly kidnapped James, who was drowning in the lake.
