Chapter 49

MARCO’S POINT OF VIEW

I hurriedly went back to the office to look for Marga, but I found her nowhere.” Where is she?” I asked Cassandra. “Sir, she left. Beth humiliated her once the news broke out, and she was crying,” she said, probably wondering what the hell was happening.

“What did Beth tell her?” I asked angrily.

“A lot of hurtful words that I cannot say,” she said.

I took a deep breath. “I’ll make sure Beth will never find another job. I’ll make sure of that,” I said.

“What’s the truth, Sir?” Cassandra asked me.

“It’s not her baby with another man, it’s my baby,” I said sternly, “You can tell anyone about this conversation, Cassandra. I don’t care. I’m not hiding them anymore,” and she nodded.

I can’t wait to deny the news and tell them the truth, but I need to talk to Marga first. I need to assure her I’ll fix this mess I put her into.

I drove to the condo, but the only person there was the nanny. “Where are they?” I asked her.
