Chapter 13

Selene's POV

While they were laughing with Jane, I turned to Dominic, who was just looking at a small piece of paper.

No way...  Did he really think about what I wrote there?

A few hours ago, it was time for us to go home.

"Ugh, I'm tired. I feel like my brain is dry because of the test," was Elisa's complaint.

"Me too; I'm hungry." Jane frowned.

I just shook my head.

Almost all our subjects took a surprise test. I feel like we are being sabotaged.

"Selene."

I stopped walking when I heard a familiar voice.

I quickly turned there.

"Oh..Dominic."  I called him too.

He ran towards me before looking at my companions and back at me again.

"Can I talk to you now?" he asked.

Is it about what I wrote?

"Jane, Elisa, I'll see you tomorrow. Dominic and I are going home together." I said to them, causing their eyes to widen.

"Come on! Do you have a date?" Jane asked excited
