Chapter 12

Selene's POV

Haruki and I looked at each other before speaking together.

"Oh, I have to go now!" We imitated what Alicia said before starting to laugh.

"She's still cheesy no matter what." Haruki laughed.

"True!" I agree. "Oh, let's go to the library."

Haruki only nodded before walking forward. I even shouted at her to wait for me, but she didn't listen, so I chased after her.

When we got to the classroom, our next subject teacher wasn't there yet, so I breathed a sigh of relief.

"Selene, are you okay?" Jane asked me openly.

I quickly smiled before nodding.

"I was attacked today, so I was weak earlier." I lied to her.

"Oh, I thought you were pregnant, so you were weak," Elisa said. She was laughing, causing me to wince at her.

What the f*ck?

Whatever else we talked about until my eyes landed on Dominic

My two eyebrows raised slightly when I saw that he was also looking at me.
