Kaelynn’s POV
I called Sir Darenn, but he appears to be reconsidering leaving his room.
“Come on, sir Darenn. We need to leave right away until no one is around.” He doesn’t want to leave, but he keeps looking out the window, so I decided to carry him and sneak our way to the backdoor, where the path to the sea is located.
It was only 3 o’clock in the afternoon, so the sun was still high, and he ran off toward the woods as soon as he set foot on the grass after we left the mansion, so I immediately chased him.
“Sir Darenn, don’t go too far from here,” I warned him. Honestly, I’m a little worried about what I’m doing right now because Mila told me that no matter what, don’t let the sun touch their skin. I’m not sure why, but Sir Darenn appears fine. Besides, in case he has a skin disease, I applied sunblock to him, and he’s also wearing a long-sleeve shirt.
