Chapter 6
His eyes darkened, and his lips warped in a sneer. I could see his detest for me in his eyes, visible like the color- lemon green.
"Kylian..." I muttered still in shock.
The other cars kept driving past us, but Kylian still stood by, his eyes piercing into mine, tormenting me...
Suddenly he scoffed, and then stood up to his feet, placing his hands in his pocket as he said,
"Is this what karma is? To think I never believed in it."
My lips parted at his words. My fingers scrapped the tiled road, removing the artificial nails with a force that left bruises on them.
I could feel it all, the pains as the nails fell off my fingers. I could feel the blood, dripping from my nails but it didn't compare, to the hurtful words that escaped Kylian's lips.
