Chapter 14

It's been two weeks of being stuck at home. No news from Mario who wants to help me find Garrett my missing husband, the only thing I could do was watch Toronto headline and constantly following Rojas Cervantes.

He was a man who hold great power. He seemed to be in great terms with the prime minister. Everytime I see him on the news I hope that it wasn't true. he shouldn't turn out to be my loving missing husband Garrett.

As I sat on my bed, lost in thought, my phone suddenly rang, jolting me back to reality.

I answered the call, and to my surprise, it was Mario, the stranger who had offered to help me on finding Garrett.

"Hello, I need you to come to my syndicate's hideout as soon as possible," Mario said in a hurried voice. "We have some information that could be crucial to your mission."

My heart began to race in my chest at the mention of the syndicate's hideout. This was it - my chance to finally get the answers I was seeking.
