I couldn't hold back the torrent of emotions any longer. Rojas's dismissive attitude towards Egan's death, combined with his possessiveness and control, was too much for me to bear. I looked at him, my eyes filled with anger, sadness, and frustration.
"You never cared about my child, Rojas," I said, my voice trembling with emotion. "After all, he wasn't yours. He wasn't blood-related to you."
Rojas looked taken aback by my words, and he tried to reach out to me, but I stepped back, tears streaming down my face.
