Gia couldn’t believe what she was witnessing. The amazing, sexy and dominating man who had blown her mind the night before was now standing on a stage announcing that he’d purchased the hospital…and she knew it was because he wanted control over her schedule so that she would see him more often.

It was confusing. She wasn’t even sure if she wanted to see David again if this was the cost. She wondered what he would want control over next—and she didn’t think she’d want to give it to him. He went on speaking to an enraptured audience while never looking away from her. She could sense Dustin staring at her too, reveling in the knowledge that he’d been right.

“I know change can be hard.” David’s stunning blue gaze drilled into her. “But in this case, it’s for the best. And trust me, if you accept this change, your life will never be the same.”
