Throughout the night, I tend and check on Liam periodically.

From experience, I know as long as a shifter is still breathing, nine times out of ten, they will recover from whatever injuries they’ve sustained. Brutal fights like that are in our nature. We protect what we want to keep safe, and with that sometimes comes serious complications.
