Chapter 53

Nocturne and I began dedicating our time to training and war preparations for the next few days. We were scheduled to leave soon and still had to train the knights.

 “I wish we had more time.” I said as we arrived in the astral plane.

 “How are you doing with your refresher training?” Nocturne asked me as she gestured to the longsword attached to my hip.

 “Having a sparring partner would probably help.” I smiled at her.

 “Let me set up the knights and demonesses, and give Kosma instructions, then we shall spar.” Nocturne smiled back. I nodded and watched as she made her way over to the training group. I was happy to see that the revelation that I was a primordial god did not change our relationship. I was displeased that we had not been able to spend the night together since we were both exhausted from training and preparing for war. I was still hopeful that I would at least get to spend one night with her before we had to head to the bat
