Chapter 55

The next day was our last day at the estate before we were to head out to the battlefield. Nocturne had already sent the knights and demonesses out to set up the barracks so everything would be ready by the time we got there. It would take an entire day by horse to get to the location she chose, but she and I were planning on teleporting there. This meant we had an entire day of rest before we needed to be on the battlefield. I sighed as I turned to Andrew.

 “I wish to have a date night with Lady Nocturne.” I told him.

 “I doubt it would be wise to take her out the day before a war is supposed to start.” He commented. I scowled.

 “I know that.” I huffed. “I meant, I wanted to have a date night here at the estate.” I explained. “A nice candlelit dinner in the garden.” I suggested. Andrew thought about it for a few moments.

 “I will have Sofia make the arrangements. Just bring Lady Nocturne out to the garden at dinner.” He nodded. I beamed
