“This is going nowhere.” Nocturne complained as she stood on the other side of the field to Iden.
“You have gotten more powerful in the time I have been away.” Iden smirked. “I always knew you would be powerful. You are the last descendant of Ishtar, after all.”
“And here I thought you only wanted me for my good looks.” Nocturne joked. Iden rolled his eyes at her. While they had paused in their fighting and resorted to banter, I could feel Ris’s emotions pouring out of the God Killer. I held onto the longsword as my own panic began to overwhelm me. I looked at Iden and saw as he spoke to Nocturne he was moving his hands in a strange way. It only took me a second to realize he was using magic to summon something.
