That night, Nocturne and I shared our bedroom. I had noticed that she was seeming rather sluggish all day, so I was surprised when she insinuated that she wanted to be embraced by me.

“Perhaps we should take a relaxing bath first, my love.” I offered her as she tried to send the maids out of the bedroom. “You need to relax. A lot has happened in such a short time frame.” Nocturne sighed in frustration.

“Fine.” She pointed at one of the maids. “Go prepare us a bath, then you can leave.” She instructed.

“Yes, my lady.” The maid bowed then scurried off to the bathroom. The other maids walked over to Nocturne, offering to help her undress. Nocturne shooed them away with her hand then snapped her fingers. Her complicated dress was replaced by a simple silk robe, that hung loosely on her frame. The maids looked at me. I snapped my fingers and my attire also transformed into a robe. However, my robe was oversized and fluffy, leaving everything to the imagination.

“
