It was just as Nocturne said, I was expected to join the other gods at their next event. I was a bit peeved when a messenger appeared in the lobby and scared the servants. Luckily, he was not as frightening to look at, instead, he was a dazzling angel that practically seduced all the female staff.
“If another immortal shows up in my lobby unannounced, I will have their head.” I threatened the poor angel. He nodded his head in understanding before disappearing as quickly as he appeared. I watched as the female servants returned to their senses as soon as he was gone. “Do all angels illicit such a response?” I asked Nocturne as I turned to her with the letter invitation the messenger had handed to me.
“Most immortals cause that response or the complete opposite.” She said. I recalled how the servants reacted to Ishtar and Ris. It was like night and day.
