Chapter 5
“Have you downloaded it yet?” Jessie moaned. She was doing some ‘calming’ pirouettes across the floor to ease her boredom. When she was about three-year-old and used to get antsy, her mother made up a series of dance routines to help channel her extra energy. Her most favorite and the one that helped calm her the most was the calming pirouette, where she would do a totally imperfect rendition of a pirouette while taking a breath in and a breath out and ending with flapping her arms like a bird. Her mother also termed it ‘the angel’s dance.’ Right now, as they waited for Vince to get the police siren sound from the net, it seemed like her skin would peel off from all the anticipation of what they were about to do, so she started hopping around to calm down.
