Chapter 22
The next morning I woke up to the smell of fresh coffee. I loved the smell, but I sank further into the comforter, seeking Damien’s warmth. I frowned when I reached my hand out and came with nothing.
“Hanna,” he drawled out from somewhere. I groaned. It was too early to get up. “C’mon, I thought we could sunbathe before we make it to the island. I slowly, lazily opened my eyes. Damien stood at the foot of the bed in a pair of shorts, looking freshly showered. He held a cup of coffee in one hand and his phone in another. I groggily say up, aware that I probably looked like crap. I was of no doubt that my hair looked like a dead crow’s retarded nest.
