Chapter 7

Liana stood with the blue light from her phone reflecting softly against a part of her face. She heard the humming of a motorcycle and looked up, she couldn’t see It or them yet, so she wondered if to hide because of the things Carrie had told her.

After some quick thoughts, she decided to stand where she was, too tired and lazy to go hide. She fixed her eyes on the road and saw Cain drive past with speed and her heart paused for a quick second.

Was it him? Or just someone else that had long hair like him? The bike had gone through so fast she couldn’t even catch a proper glimpse. She found herself smiling stupidly at the thought of Cain till her roommate texted her.

“What the fuck, Li!”

“Where are you?”

“It’s late.”

She decided to text back, unlocking her phone and typing quick with one hand when she heard the motorcycle again, but less loud this time. She looked up. It had stopped right in front of her and she was right. It was Cain. She chuckle
