Chapter 13. First Date

“Miss are you ready to order?” another waiter came to meet me.

“No I am waiting for someone,” I dismissed politely. “Can you tell me what’s going on outside?” I asked.

“Oh a young man is trying to get in without a reservation,” the waiter told me.

“Oh, thanks,” I said.

I stood up and decided to investigate myself, I also needed to call Min Jun. He was ignoring my calls.

“Min,” I said.

He looked at me and turned to the waiter who was holding him. “See, now do I need reservations?” he asked and shook the waiter’s hand of him.

“I have been trying to call you all night,” I said to him.

“I was stuck,” he said.

I led him to our table and we got seated. “My bad, I should have waited for you outside and I am so sorry I kept you waiting. I had to go for chemotherapy,” I explained.

He nodded and picked up the menu.

“So what are you ordering?” he asked.

“Probably steak,” I said.

“I guess I’ll have that too,” he said.
