Chapter 3

Liam’s POV

I kept an eye on her and smiled. 

I am Liam, the prince of all vampires, and I left my world to have fun with humans. I don’t have a heart, so I’m not kind or nice.

After entering this world and this location, I began feeding on humans, making them cry and fight for their lives every night.

Their fear gives me power and makes me feel alive. After getting slashed by a girl through my window when she saw me feeding, she screamed that a vampire lived in the house, and since then, I haven’t gotten any sleep with the humans murmuring that a vampire lives here.

I hide because I don’t want anyone to know that a vampire has arrived in their world. I tortured the girl and made her beg me to murder her.

Since then, I’ve only gone out at night because I don’t want anyone to know who I am.

This fateful day, I sat only to hear a girl groaning outside, so I stood up and went to my window. I immediately fell in love.

I watched as she looked up at me, terrified as if she wanted to go away. I used my eyes to urge her to stop before a school bus passed by and dumped water on her. I grew enraged but did nothing.

I went to my closet and pulled out a shirt and a suit that would hide my entire body. I put on my glasses and stalked behind her. I watched as she was tormented, and I simply smiled to myself and left.

I didn’t see her come out till an hour later. She was wet and looked like she had been weeping for a long time.

“What happened to her?” I muttered to myself.

I was following her when I had an idea to run full speed to the front and turn back to catch her attention. I made her hit me and then caught her as she was going to collapse.

She was grateful at first, but after seeing my face, she pushed me away, terrified. I smiled because she was beautiful even in her scared form, and I made her understand that I was a vampire who would soon come to take her and make her my wife.

I felt like I was standing in the middle of her astonishment, and I couldn’t take my eyes off her. When I saw her walk into the restroom, I wanted to rush inside to be with her, but I didn’t want her to be terrified.

After she finished, she began texting, and it took her nearly an hour to fall asleep. I smiled since this was the moment to admire her lovely features.

She walked away, closing the window, and my smile went out. I jumped up, opened it, and found her asleep.

“You look lovely, wife,” I said softly.

Just as I was about to utter the next bit, she opened her eyes, causing me to sprint out the window.

I stood there peering through the glass and saw her walk to it and about to slide it again before she met my eyes. I smiled and vanished.

I walked back into my house, straight to my coffin. I wasn’t happy because I wanted her right away. I walked straight to the basement, where I kept my meals. I could hear their cries, and it didn’t matter to me. I stood watching all of them, knowing which one would be perfect for my next meal, until my eyes caught up with the lady in the suit.

Tina was her name, and she was my lovely wife’s teacher. I saw how she acted today without punishing those who wronged my wife. I got down on her level after witnessing how she cried through the tape over her mouth, and I pulled a small amount of hair from her face and smiled down at her.

“It’s really shameful for a gorgeous lady like you that you’ll be gone tonight.”

She screamed even more as I stated that, and as I took the tape away from her, she looked at me with terrified and begging eyes.

“Please don’t murder me. I have children,” she begged.

“You let my wife suffer at the hands of bullies, and now you’re screaming for your release? But your blood smells wonderful, and I’d want a taste of it.”

I burst out laughing, and before I knew it, she was screaming.

“Help! Can someone please help me?”

No one would come to save her, no one had ever escaped me before, so I hit her on the head quite hard, looking so mad.

“What a brave lady you are. No matter how loud you cry, no one will come to your rescue, and my beloved Lizzy will be able to sleep without you in school tomorrow.”

She looked surprised when I mentioned my wife’s name.

“Yes, Lizzy is my wife, and you are one of the people who are making her life difficult.”

I went behind her because I could feel her heart racing.

“Don’t worry. It’s going to end soon.” I bit her hard on the neck, causing her to scream loudly, frightening the others in the room.

I threw her body to the ground, undid the chain that was on her, dragged her out of the basement into the wilderness, and buried her.

I smiled to myself for the amazing job I did, then turned back to my house till I came to a halt and stared at my wife’s house for a second.

She was just perfect; she was the one I had been looking for. I just wanted to touch her, taste her a little bit, and no matter what, I would make her my wife.

“Don’t worry, babe. You will get to accept me.”

And with that, I walked away, returning to my home and entering the coffin to prepare for the big day.
