Cara’s POV

Seeing Liam leave me and go to look for that woman made me angry. He should have been loving me, not her.

I walked around the room, getting angry at myself for not making my plan work. I went over to the window and waited for Liam, but he was nowhere to be seen.

I picked up my phone and called his number, but he didn’t answer, despite it ringing many times.

I walked out of the house, putting on my coat even though I wasn’t cold. I walked down the empty street, looking around to see if I could spot Liam.

I felt anger boiling deep within me because I couldn’t tell where he was. I started walking in every direction, screaming his name, but he didn’t answer.

I picked up my phone once more and dialed his number. This time, he picked up, but his tone was different.

“What?” he yelled over the phone, and I could hear a silent sob behind him.

“Did you find her?” I asked, smirking as I walked around the street.
