Chapter 49

Liam’s POV

After I saw Lizzy with a group of guys, I felt angry. I watched her faint as she saw me, and I picked her up and took her away from the car as I walked with her, looking for a place to put her.

My phone rang and rang, and just as I looked at the ID and saw it was Cara, I ignored it.

I found a place more like a cage as I took Lizzy there. Just looking at her, I wanted to apologize, but I felt scared and didn’t know where to start.

She felt so peaceful as she slept, and I placed my hands on her stomach and felt relieved that my child was still okay.

I didn’t know how I was going to tell her that I erased the memory of her friend.

I closed my eyes as I noticed how the thunder kept getting louder and louder by the second, and because of that, Lizzy woke up.

I moved closer to her, and just as she saw me, she moved away.

“Why did you come for me?” she yelled, and I could see tears in her eyes.
