Chapter 50

Mira’s POV

After parking my car in front of my house, I heard a sound coming from the bushes. I took out my mirror and acted as if I wanted to look at my face.

As I lifted my mirror up and started looking into it, I saw a shadow staring mercilessly at me, and when I moved closer, I noticed it was Mr. Vampire.

I took out my phone immediately and texted Lizzy.

I decided to act cool as I walked inside.

My parents had been away for weeks now on a business trip and would not be back until the festival, which was coming up in two months.

As I walked into my room, I ran towards my box on the table and pulled out an eye patch. It allowed you to put it in your eyes, but you wouldn’t be able to see the person in front of you.

After I did that, I acted as if I were busy with something. Since this was my room, I knew where most of my suitcases were.

Just as I turned to walk over to my bedside, I felt a hit on my face that caused me to whine
