I could not remember what had woken me up, but I wasn’t a deep sleeper anyway. I was asleep, and then, I wasn’t, staring idly at my ceiling. Falling back to sleep would take a while, and Tilly wasn’t close enough to get me a drink. Nightmares stemmed from the wars I had fought for my pack at an early age. My demons were bigger than I thought.
My room seemed to be getting smaller, so I walked out and went to my balcony to get some air. My throat was dry, and the night was cold. Werewolves had bodily heat, thankfully, so I barely felt the chilly breeze. It was then that I noticed movement toward the medical division.
