Chapter 6. The Hunt
‘How will I get rid of him?’ For weeks, he followed Arold around and was able to get hold of his schedule. In his mind, he worried that they would end up together when it should be him, only him for her and no one else. If he cannot have her, no one can.
Arold could not shake off the feeling that he was being followed. He thought about it day and night and concluded that his life was in danger. So he pulled all his resources and did some digging, even going so far as to hire a private detective, which was expensive, but he would do anything for Michelle.
The detective handed him a file. He discovered that Mike was an orphan. He wondered if he already knew that. Maybe that is why he was acting that way toward Michelle. Also, he came from a wealthy family and had a fraternal twin brother.
