Chapter 9. The Accident

Michelle got her running shoes out and changed into her exercise clothes. She started to run as fast as she could. The tears were bothering her as they streamed down her face while she was running. She crossed the street as she finished her last lap. She was suddenly hit by a moving car. The car dragged her for a few seconds and then stopped. The owner of the car went out and dropped to his knees hurriedly. His intention was to bring her to the doctor.

She was unconscious as she was brought inside the car. His driver went as fast as lightning. He was worried, as well as his boss, because he was the one driving the car.

Settled in his arms, he could see how sad she was as her eyes were all swollen from crying. She was beautiful, no doubt. He was taken aback by where his thoughts were going since he had no interest in women per se. Yet, there he was, interested in her and her story. He prayed that there would be a chance to really get to know her. His interest was piqued.<
