Chapter 10. I Want You

She turned around to see Ethan standing a few feet away, and she blinked. He began walking closer, and the tug grew even stronger till it became an insistent pull.

A...mate pull.

No, that shouldn’t be possible. She had rejected him, hadn’t she?

As Ethan walked up to her, she took in every inch of his features like she usually did in the past. His shaggy brown hair that was always out of place, his chiselled face, his broad shoulders and that sexy way he walked.

Even though his eyes held an insurmountable amount of anger, she gazed into their gorgeous depths. The closer he got, the more she wanted to jump on him and kiss every inch of his perfect body.

Rhiannon blinked, tearing her gaze off him. Her eyes narrowed into space...what the hell was wrong with her?

“What are you doing here?” Ethan questioned, his eyes stern.

Rhiannon locked eyes with him once more. Her body might be betraying her and getting swayed by the lurking mate bond, but her
