Rhiannon’s anger only rose, “I’m never coming back to you, Ethan Shaw. Ever!” She looked straight into his eyes, unyielding, “And I meant every single word I said that night, so the earlier you accept it and get on with your life, the better for you,”

She heard a deep rumble down his throat, then he took a step closer, covering the distance between them. Standing so close with a look of fury, he looked intimidating and dangerous, “You’re not the same Rhia I used to know.” His eyes sharpened, then he leaned closer to her face with an assessing look, “Who are you?”

Rhiannon’s heart skipped a beat. Does he know?! No, he shouldn’t. It’s only because of how she’s been behaving these days that he must feel something is wrong, because no matter how much she tries to act like her past self, the new her isn’t completely hidden.

Her body language might give her away, and his wolf instinct might also be warning him.
