Chapter 58. Ivy
William’s POV
Ivy was as excited as she had been before she left, some years ago. She was also as expensive. She demanded I take her shopping when she arrived in Germany, and I couldn’t say no. Pleasing her was part of the plan. I needed to ease her into what I needed her to do. She hadn’t changed much. She had lost a lot of weight, and she looked even more wicked than before. She wore more makeup than before, and I could tell she had done a couple of face jobs.
She had stayed at one of the hotels owned by the family for the first two nights of her arrival. Then she decided she couldn’t stand the hotel food that was being served and asked to come to the house. I couldn’t say no. In fact, it was what I had hoped for. I needed her as close as possible, and I didn’t want her to bump into Nathaniel anytime soon. I didn’t want anyone to know she was in here yet. I had planned to reveal it to her later on.
