Chapter 63. A Weird Turn

Rose’s POV

The journey to wherever we were going wasn’t so long. I noticed how even when we were approaching traffic, the security personnel would come forward and clear the path. Kael had fallen asleep and woken up again. Now, he was just staring through the window and enjoying the view. I leaned forward and placed a kiss on his head.

Like many other days, I wasn’t sure of what was happening and where we were going, but at least my sweet baby was here with me. I could cuddle him and focus all my attention on him if things got even more random.

I loved how I was saddled with the responsibility of looking after him. It gave me something to do, which I truly enjoyed and even craved.

The car made an entrance, and I looked forward to seeing where we were since the car was pulling to a stop. To my great horror, it was a familiar place. My sister’s new house.
