Chapter 60. Rivalry

Anastasia’s POV

“You know what? Maybe coming to say hi to you was a mistake,” Ivy snapped, her voice sharp with frustration.

“I couldn’t agree more. Now get out,” I said coldly, refusing to soften my glare.

I watched in satisfaction as Ivy left the room, looking burnt. I was happy she seemed humiliated because of my words.

She was a horrible person while she was married to Nathan. She abused him emotionally and neglected her child. On several occasions, she would come to the club where I worked to make out with the male workers. I kept shut about it because it was none of my business.

When they got divorced and she left, I was happy for Nathan. He was hurt, but it was for the best. I wasn’t close to him like that, but even I couldn’t understand the cruelty of his wife towards him.
