“What is wrong with you, Ana?” he asked, annoyed.

“What is wrong with me?! What is wrong with you?!” I sobbed. “This is not the marriage I dreamt of having with you, William. Can’t you see we’re distant?”

“This is not the time to talk about that, Ana. This is not about our marriage. There is a bigger fish to fry.”

“When will it ever be about our marriage? When? Haven’t I done everything you asked of me? When will you be my husband? Why on earth will you bring another woman into our bedroom?”

“Ana, for goodness' sake, if this is about Ivy, I’ve already told you that nothing is going on. Just let it go already!”

“It’s not about Ivy. It’s about you not wanting me. Why did you marry me if you didn’t love me? Why?”
