Chapter 69. Toy Shopping

The chauffeur was very patient with Kael and me as we shopped. Apparently, it was time to get him a new set of toys. I didn’t understand the idea behind buying him more toys, even though he still had an entire room full of toys. Ferdinand said they always changed his toys periodically.

Everything that was in the toy room was donated, and a new set was bought for him. Kael was such a blessed baby. Growing up, I didn’t have the pleasure of many toys to play with. After my parents passed, I had to start living like a grown-up at an early age. I started cooking and doing chores. There was no time to play.
