“Because he saw my bruises…” I got another piece of cake and sighed. “I think I need to give Jaewon a present too. Can you help me?”

“Maybe, but seriously, you guys look like boyfriends. He even brought you a cake, and there was a note!”

“He’s just cute…”

“He seems in love to me. And you too. You guys keep seeing each other, sleeping, and having sex together.”

“We don’t keep having sex together; it was just…” I try to count on my fingers the times Jaewon and I fucked, but it’s better not to try. “Sometimes.”

Taesu also sighs but eats another piece of my cake, and that makes me pay attention. If Jaewon sent me a cake made by his mom and asked me to have a good meal, I can’t let Taesu eat more than me. This is a matter of gratitude, you know?

“You’re like an animal.”

“Animal is my egg.” I reply with my mouth full, but again, he looks at me.

“What egg?”
