Chapter 30

POV: Harin

I tried to pick out a matching pajama and even underwear. I took a hot shower and couldn’t even relax; all that filled my mind was that I would see Jaewon again that day and that we would watch the starless sky together. When I finished, I brushed my teeth and combed my hair. I tried to find a nice spot to stay and even tested the front camera to see how I looked, but nothing was as comfortable as my own bed, so I lay down and waited for him to call.

When the phone rang, my heart seemed to match the ring with fast and strong beats. I took a deep breath and slid the green button on the screen, smiling when, in the next second, Jaewon’s image without a shirt and with messy, wet hair appeared, smiling as if he were very happy to see me too.

“Hi,” I said, feeling foolish again.

“Hi…”
