Chapter 14
“Mr. Ibrahim has summoned you, and it’s been an hour already,” Martha informed and again started climbing the staircase in the main hallway, tagging her along.
Everyone looked at them gobsmacked, as that area was only reserved for family members and Martha.
Standing there in the majestic office, Ayleen could feel how wrong she was.
Mr. Ibrahim was sitting on his chair, behind the huge mahogany desk, staring at her with exasperation. The man who was polite and sweet to her now looked scary.
Murat was sitting on one of the chairs in the front, smirking as he passed a wink to her.
“Is what I heard true? You willingly signed this marriage certificate for money?” Mr. Ibrahim stated, already broken by his son’s step of tackling this marriage situation in a well-schemed plot to get the business only.
“I already told you—”
“I want to hear it from Ayleen! You have already done enough.” Murat’s intervention was blocked by Mr. Ibrahim’s glare.
