Becky drove her dagger forward with one powerful thrust. She had it at the fleet member’s throat. With a scowling gaze, “Better start explaining or lose your head!”

A sob escaped her lips as she slowly lowered her head. “I didn’t plan all this,” she said in a fading tone. “General Ail made me.”

“What?” Jimmy gaped at her in surprise. He looked shocked. “How?”
