Chapter 46. The Moment

The Just risen sun lit the scene of Jimmy’s room. He was fast asleep until he was awakened by soft whispering in his ears. He slowly opens his bleary eyes. A tiring yawn escaped his lips. He’s yet to figure out the person who whispered to him. He’s still feeling groggy.

The whispering came again. He sat up in haste and flicked around in shock, making a profile of Rose, smiling at him with a flirtatious fancy smile.

“Rose?” he muttered in shock, like one who has seen a ghost. His eyes were wide in gaze.

“Yes, sweetie, it is me.” Rose moved closer and kissed him on the lips. “I’ve missed the taste of your lips.”
