Chapter 79. I Love You, Celeste

Celeste’s POV

I woke up in Liam’s bed, after he found me on the ground, my body a broken mess after Savannah had crushed my bones. The pain I suffered during that attack and after Liam found me, had subsided. I ached a little as the healing process hadn’t quite finished, but this remaining pain reminded me it wasn’t a dream.

After finding myself more awake, I kicked the duvet off and I studied my body. My bones appeared to have set back to where they were meant to be, and I felt a sudden wave of relief wash over me. Savannah was becoming too powerful now, whatever kind of demonic darkness she was meddling with, it would cause a lot of hurt eventually.

After taking care of my movements, I made my way downstairs and felt my stomach turn as I noticed the face of someone I didn’t expect, or really wanted to see staring back at me.
