I felt it the moment the bond severed. It felt like a part of me was being torn apart.

Daphne staggered on her feet, one hand flying to her chest, her breathing rapid.

My wolf thrashed around and howled in agony. I gritted my teeth, pain radiating through every nerve in my body.
