Chapter 16. Yasmin’s Advice
He flew off his chair the moment he was done with his meal. He couldn’t deal with another query session with his father. He wasn’t ready to talk about how he felt when he had the idea of how it was that he felt.
Riyadh looked at his departing form, convinced he couldn’t wait to get away from the room. She shuddered as she remembered herself in his room earlier during the day and hissed at herself. Even though he had threatened her, she couldn’t stop thinking of how adorable he had looked, trying to scare the shit out of her and pretending to look menacing as he defended his sister.
She sat still at the table even though she was done, waiting for everyone to leave, and ignored the clangs of cutleries and plates and the shuffling of the servants’ bodies as they packed the dishes and tidied up the table after them. She zoned out of the environment, not having any business with them.
