Raya’s POV

I called for my sister a few more times before deciding it was best to enter the cottage and bring her out myself. It doesn’t take me long to scout the entire cottage looking for her, but I do not find her.

I became worried. Just a few minutes ago, she had been ready to leave and had been waiting for me by the fire. Where could she possibly be? I checked the windows for a sign of escape or forced exit, but they were all fastened from the inside, so there was no way she would have left.

“She’s not inside,” I told Keenan with a shaky voice. Perhaps that witch has come to take her away again. That is the only logical explanation I can give for her disappearance.

“She cannot have left the house. We’ve been here the whole time,” commented Keenan.
