Keenan’s POV

“Who are you talking about?” I had almost revealed just now that I had gotten Raya’s cure from a witch.

“What? It’s nothing.”

“Who was the old woman that gave me some potion to drink?” asked Raya.

“Uhm, the healer?”

“Keenan, why did you not return with the healer?” Raya asked.

There was something about the look in Raya’s eyes that made me confess.

“A witch?” Raya exclaimed while Dana asked, “Are there good witches then?”

“Dana, the lady with the apple, what is the color of her hair?” Raya asked her little sister.

“Red, it was red. I remember it clearly because she looked like blood was pouring down her face, but it was her hair,” came Dana’s response.

“She attacked me. She was the one that attacked me in the forest, and then knowing you would need a healer, she came to your rescue so you would remain in her debt.”
