Dana’s POV
I was not certain what I had been expecting when I had started this journey but now that it was over? A part of me wanted to hug my sister and never let go. It was surreal that the only family I had ever known had to leave me soon.
Immediately I arrived I could tell in an instant that I did not fit in. This was an elegant house with elegant people and a butler and a cook and a gardener and a maid. I had never once lived like this at least not that I can remember. My sister always told me that we used to live in plenty until our mother had died shortly after my birth.
It had been from that point things had taken a downward turn for our family. My sister had practically raised me until now, and we had only had enough for us to eat, and many times, we had nothing to eat.
