Raya’s POV

The days went by in a flash. I was surprised that I actually began enjoy teaching Matilda. I thought that it had to be because I missed my sister so much that I had taken a liking to the spoilt entitled brat I was teaching.

As she had been overindulged she was very rude and difficult to get to do anything but I was patient and ever ready to listen to her. She was also very smart and I spent most of my time researching in their vast library to prepare for each class because Matilda’s joy was making me look stupid.

I was leaving the library when I saw a man I had not seen before approach me.

“Good evening,” I greeted him with a polite smile.

“Good evening, Miss. May I ask who you are?” the moment he opened his mouth I could tell that he was Godfrey, one of the men that belonged to Lord Christopher’s inner circle.

“I am Bella, the little lady’s governess,” I responded.
