Chapter 68

Keenan’s POV

“He told me he is ready to help should I need his help and as he has staged a successful revolution I think he can be helpful to our plan,” I told Raya.

“I know he and his mother have their grievance against the Dark Moon pack but can he really be trusted knowing the bad blood between werewolves and vampires?” she asked. I could detect caution in her voice, which I understood well. We had to be careful, but we also needed alliances.

“When the Alpha and the prince sat opposite each other and I observed their discourse, I came to one conclusion, and that is. I will rather have a meal with the vampire than sit with the werewolf, I think we should set our prejudices aside and give the prince the benefit of doubt,” I tried to reason with Raya.

“This goes beyond giving him the benefit of doubt. If he betrays us…”

“He can do that regardless of if we trust him. He knows our names and he knows it is my blood that cured him,” I informed her.
