Raya’s POV

“Thallus!” Lord Christopher cried following Thallus out of the library. I knew there was no way I could hide myself so I pretended like I was on my way to the library. I hoped he believed my stunt because if he suspected that I had overhead anything, I did not doubt that he would murder me in cold blood.

“My lord,” I bowed deeply to the man. I hoped his anger made him forget about the affair he intended to start with me.
