Adrianna’s POV

I had woken up to the tingling sensation of a touch on my face. I furrowed my brow before I opened my eyes.

Locking eyes with those intoxicating brown eyes made my heart skip.

The Alpha was just an inch away from me, and we continued looking into each other’s eyes in silence.

When I thought we would finally look away or stop whatever staring competition we were doing, I felt Kael move closer to me. In a movement that seemed so fast to me, he pressed his lips against mine.
